About the Role An Outstanding mixed school in Enfield is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join their English department from September. You will inspire students to develop a love for literature and language across Key Stages 3 to 5. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Develop students' analytical and creative writing skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources. Organise and lead English-related extracurricular activities, such as book clubs and debating societies. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English. Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level, including A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
