Job Title: Estimator Intern Location: Iyana-Ipaja (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Construction / Engineering About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing cost estimates, analyzing project budgets, and supporting procurement processes, gaining hands-on experience in construction project cost management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Support the procurement team in sourcing materials and services. Conduct data collection and analysis to assist in project budgeting. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure accurate cost planning. Assist in preparing tender documents, bill of quantities (BOQs), and cost reports. Participate in project progress tracking and cost reporting. Qualifications: Must possess a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division (2:1) or Upper Credit in HND/BSc in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field from a recognized institution. 0–2 years of relevant experience in construction cost estimation or related role. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and construction estimation software is an advantage. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Eagerness to learn and grow in a structured construction environment.
