Year 4 Teacher – Slough

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and creative Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Slough, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys lower Key Stage 2 and is passionate about supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. As a Year 4 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and a love of learning. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress effectively Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN Promote positive behaviour and high expectations Create a well-structured, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues across KS2 Communicate effectively with parents and carers Contribute to staff meetings, planning, and school initiatives Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Have recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 4 Be enthusiastic, organised, and reflective in practice Have strong classroom management skills Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing The school is based in Slough, with excellent transport links and a welcoming community.
