Early Career Teachers receive structured mentoring, lesson observations, shared planning and reduced timetable periods for CPD and development. The Role • Teach English across KS3–KS4 using established curriculum plans • Use assessment frameworks to track progress and plan interventions • Mark written work with detailed feedback to support literacy development • Participate in ECT induction, coaching cycles and department meetings • Support enrichment such as reading clubs, theatre visits and writing competitions Requirements • PGCE/ITT in English • Strong literacy skills and understanding of curriculum requirements • Enthusiastic, reflective and committed to improving practice To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
