Payroll Clerk/Admin

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Payroll Clerk/Admin. The Payroll Clerk/Admin will primarily be responsible for the Time and Attendance System and querying any discrepancies with the respective departmental heads within the group. Key Responsibilities: Administer the time and attendance system across the group. Manage vacation and sick leave records in line with Maltese employment legislation. Draft employment contracts and other employment-related letters. Support the onboarding process by registering new employees on HR systems, collecting required documentation, and maintaining up-to-date records. Liaise with Identity Malta, JobsPlus, and other entities to handle work permits and government forms. Assist with employee benefits administration. Support offboarding processes, including terminations and exit documentation. Perform general filing, email correspondence management, and other administrative duties as required. Requirements: Minimum of one years experience in a similar HR role. Strong team player with the ability to also work independently. Excellent attention to detail; organised, reliable, and trustworthy. Able to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure. Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times. Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel. Familiar with Maltese employment legislation. Experience using Dakar or Shireburn payroll systems would be considered an asset.
