The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and eliminating hazards before incidents occur, making a direct impact on workplace safety and employee well-being. Key Responsibilities Partner with operations teams to review work practices and recommend improvements to reduce risk Assist in reviewing, revising, and implementing safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance Lead incident reporting and investigation processes, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking Develop and deliver monthly safety training programs to all plant associates Conduct specialized safety training and evaluate training effectiveness Perform routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards Support the Safety Manager in maintaining policies that adhere to local, state, and federal regulations Requirements Essential Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environment (assembly/machine shop experience preferred) Supervisory experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing facility Bachelor's degree preferred, with safety-related education or experience a plus Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices Excellent communication and training delivery skills Ability to conduct thorough investigations and root cause analysis Preferred Certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification CPE, CSP, or CIH certification Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Comfortable working in manufacturing environment Ability to conduct plant floor inspections and audits What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on workplace safety Professional development and growth opportunities Collaborative work environment with supportive leadership Stable, established company in the food and beverage industry Ready to advance your safety career?
