CCTV Specialist

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a CCTV Specialist for their Gaming studios in São Paulo, Brazil. Position: CCTV Specialist Location: São Paulo, Brazil Employment type: Full-time Remuneration: Base salary ABOUT THE ROLE: This role oversees monitoring operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure 24/7 readiness and effective incident response. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate internal communication with the operations control room and external communication with relevant agencies on CCTV-related matters. Manage daily operations of the control room and ensure all technical equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and supported. Perform daily checks to ensure cameras are clean, fully operational, and recording without interruption. Ensure all cameras are correctly connected, configured, and identified within the VMS platforms in use. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve CCTV system and monitoring issues efficiently. Implement system modifications, upgrades, and improvements as required. Install, secure, configure, and administer VMS platforms such as Milestone, AXIS Camera Station, or equivalent systems. Monitor, maintain, and repair CCTV applications and related services. Perform routine preventive maintenance in line with the established maintenance plan. Train CCTV operators and provide user manuals, procedures, and ongoing technical support. Proactively monitor system performance, quality, and reliability to prevent service disruption. Coordinate closely with Network and Storage teams to ensure connectivity, performance, and data security. Install and configure client desktops to ensure stable CCTV client software operation. Ensure 24/7 emergency response readiness for CCTV system failures, including on-call support. Process and manage CCTV work requests and service tasks. REQUIREMENTS: Native or fluent in Portuguese (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication. As well as proficiency in English (at least B2). Background in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Control Systems Engineering. Solid knowledge of CCTV systems and related software applications. Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, configuration, and full project implementation. Strong troubleshooting expertise in CCTV systems and infrastructure. Experience working with Windows Server and Linux environments. Experience with Milestone or similar VMS platforms is preferred. Knowledge of storage systems including SAN, NAS, and DAS is an advantage. Working knowledge of LAN administration, including user management and backups. Experience with hardware servers and storage solutions such as HP, Dell, EMC, or Blade systems is preferred. Good understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals. Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including shifts - 6.30am - 3.30pm, 10am - 7pm 2.30pm - 11.30pm, 10.30pm - 7.30am.
