Senior CAD Design Engineer About the Role We are seeking a Senior CAD Design Engineer to lead the development, redesign, and refinement of complex engineering components and assemblies . This role involves creating high-quality CAD models, resolving design conflicts, ensuring geometric accuracy, and mentoring junior engineers . As a recognized subject matter expert in CAD engineering , you will be responsible for product development, documentation, and ensuring design readiness for release . You will also contribute to project roadmaps, industry trends, and overall strategic goals within the engineering division. Key Responsibilities ✔️ Develop and refine CAD models – Design components and mature product development within CAD systems. ✔️ Redesign existing models – Optimize small areas of existing designs to improve functionality and performance. ✔️ Assembly & Packaging – Create complex CAD assemblies , detect packaging conflicts , and ensure proper fitment. ✔️ Technical Drawings & Documentation – Produce accurate, high-quality engineering drawings for verification and production. ✔️ Quality Assurance – Ensure design integrity, compliance, and readiness before release. ✔️ Project Leadership & Strategy – Contribute to project roadmaps , industry trend analysis , and long-term design strategies . ✔️ Mentorship & Coaching – Act as a go-to expert for complex design challenges, guiding junior engineers and cross-functional teams. ✔️ Value Creation & Innovation – Align work with business objectives , ensuring that designs contribute to overall product success . Required Qualifications & Experience ✅ 10+ years of experience in CAD design and engineering . ✅ Strong expertise in 3D CAD modeling and assembly creation . ✅ Proven experience in geometric verification and technical drawing production . ✅ Strong analytical skills to perform design evaluations, resolve conflicts, and ensure manufacturability . ✅ Project leadership experience , contributing to roadmaps and product strategies. ✅ Strong communication and mentorship skills to support junior engineers and cross-functional teams. ✅ A deep T-shaped skillset , excelling in either a specialist discipline or a well-rounded engineering toolbox .
