Coastal Primary Teaching Assistant – Early Years/Key Stage 1 Intervention – Cornwall A small, nurturing primary school in the picturesque St Austell, Cornwall area, with strong community ties, requires a dedicated Teaching Assistant with an affinity for Early Years and Key Stage 1 (KS1). Primary Teaching Assistant required. Full-time or four days a week , term-time position. Focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Phonics/Early Reading Intervention . Work within a supportive, smaller school setting near the coast. Your responsibilities will be split between supporting the daily routine in EYFS and delivering high-quality phonics and early literacy intervention to KS1 students, ensuring they achieve rapid progress in reading. Requirements and Qualifications Experience or qualification in Early Years or Phonics delivery (e.g., Read Write Inc. training). A playful and engaging demeanour suitable for younger learners.
