About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3-5, following exam specifications and incorporating practical experiments and real-world applications. Plan and deliver lessons that foster problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and chemical understanding, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources, including laboratory experiments and online simulations. Assess student progress through practical experiments, demonstrations, and written assessments, providing detailed feedback to support their development and ensure smooth transition mid-year. Contribute to the development of the Chemistry curriculum, integrating current chemical research and safety practices, and participate in departmental planning and collaboration. Organize and lead laboratory experiments, chemical demonstrations, and science-related activities, promoting student engagement and practical skills, adapting to mid-year integration. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Chemistry subject knowledge, including chemical theories and laboratory techniques. Demonstrated experience teaching Chemistry to A-Level, with a focus on both theoretical concepts and practical applications. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and practical skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities, including those joining mid-year.
