REGISTERED NURSE - OPERATING ROOM

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Registered Nurse - Operating Room RN - OR Full-Time Registered Nurse candidates for the Operating Room will have the following job responsibilities: Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room Organizes time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient case management Provides nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice Assists in inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Registered Nurse - Operating Room RN - OR Full-Time Registered Nurse candidates for the Operating Room must meet the following minimum job qualifications: Graduate of an approved school of nursing required. BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program preferred. Specialty certification preferred. One (1) year RN Perioperative (operating room) circulating experience in an acute care setting required. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state in which nurse will be practicing at date of hire. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire. Pay Rate: $ $47.40 - $74.48/hour
