Requirements QTS and proven UK KS1 teaching experience Strong knowledge of phonics (Read Write Inc or Letters & Sounds preferred) Confident planning differentiated lessons for mixed-ability groups Excellent communication with parents and colleagues Skilled in formative and summative assessment Enhanced DBS on the update service Salary £36,000 – £48,000 depending on experience (MPS/UPS) What the Job Entails Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons to a Year 1 or Year 2 class Implementing a strong phonics program and early literacy development Using assessment to track progress and identify learning gaps Working alongside teaching assistants to support individual pupils Creating a warm, stimulating classroom environment Liaising with the SENCO to support children on EHCPs Attending staff meetings, CPD, and parent consultations Leading small group interventions when required Summary A fantastic opportunity for a confident, experienced KS1 teacher to work in a supportive Fulham school known for excellent training and a strong sense of community.
