Assistant Technician Electrical (Lift Operator)

Job Overview The Assistant Technician – Electrical (Lift Operator) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of passenger and service lifts at Tornado Tower, West Bay. The role includes conducting routine inspections, assisting with basic electrical maintenance activities, and responding promptly to lift breakdowns or emergency situations. The position requires close coordination with authorized service providers while ensuring strict compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities Operate passenger and service lifts safely and efficiently. Perform daily inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety of lifts. Assist in basic electrical maintenance and minor repair works. Monitor lift control panels, emergency alarms, and intercom systems. Respond promptly to lift breakdowns and emergency situations. Coordinate with authorized lift service technicians for repairs and servicing. Maintain accurate logbooks for lift operations, inspections, and breakdowns. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and statutory regulations. Skills & Competencies Basic knowledge of electrical systems and lift operations. Understanding of safety procedures and emergency handling. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Good communication skills.
