Mechanical / Engineering Projects Planner - Durban – R60 000 CTC Negotiable We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Planner to join a busy engineering environment in Durban. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running , taking over large, live projects and driving them through to successful completion. Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and manage engineering projects from handover to finalisation Interpret project requirements and develop detailed project schedules Track progress, milestones, and variances against the plan Produce forecasts, reports, and updated schedules Work closely with project teams to ensure delivery deadlines are met Requirements: Proven planning experience within a mechanical engineering environment (essential) Strong project scheduling skills (MS Projects / Primavera advantageous) Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Willingness to work overtime and outside core hours when required Package & Benefits: Permanent role with benefits Laptop and company cellphone provided Working Hours: Mon–Thu: 07h00 – 15h45 Fri: 07h00 – 15h30 (Flexibility required based on project demands) This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Planner looking to step into an active project environment with immediate impact.
