Production Operation Manager

Industry: PHARMACEUTICAL Job Summary Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Production Operation Manager to oversee the entire manufacturing cycle, workforce planning, output, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations. Main Responsibilities: Manage daily production planning, manpower deployment, and workflow. Ensure GMP standards are strictly applied. Coordinate production with QA/QC, R&D, warehouse, and engineering teams. Drive production performance KPIs (yield, rejection rate, downtime). Oversee machine capacity utilization and production cost control. Lead investigations for deviations, breakdowns, and process failures. Manage training, discipline, and performance of production staff. Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance in the plant. Main Requirements: Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field. 4-7 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing; at least 2 years in a management role. Knowledge of tablet, capsule, filling, or packaging line operations. Strong leadership, process improvement, and problem-solving skills. Skills in production scheduling, KPI monitoring, cost control, GMP compliance, and conflict management.
