The Role – Year 5 Teacher As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing pupils for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2, ensuring they develop the confidence and knowledge needed for their final years of primary education. You will deliver engaging and creative lessons that challenge and inspire students, helping them develop their independence and curiosity. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver exciting, well-structured lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued. Use effective assessment strategies to track progress and provide targeted support. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork among pupils. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all students. What We’re Looking For A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent). Experience teaching KS2, ideally in Year 5. A passion for education, with a creative and engaging teaching style. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to motivate students.
