Mixed secondary school based in Liverpool Maths ECT to join a supportive and enthusiastic Mathematics department Our Client is seeking a Maths ECT to teach KS3 and KS4 within a welcoming and well-structured secondary school in Liverpool. The role includes delivering well-sequenced Maths lessons, contributing to intervention and enrichment provision, and developing classroom expertise through sustained mentoring and training. School Information This 11–18 school educates around 1,350 students and maintains strong progress outcomes across the curriculum. The Mathematics department benefits from shared lesson resources, collaborative planning routines, mastery-based teaching models and a curriculum that prioritises fluency, reasoning and problem solving. ECTs receive weekly mentoring, regular instructional coaching and reduced teaching commitments during the induction year. Staff describe the school as friendly, well organised and highly supportive.
