You will be responsible for the security, maintenance, and overall safety of the school site, ensuring it remains an inspiring and safe environment for pupils and staff. This is a key role within the premises team, requiring a candidate who takes pride in the physical presentation of the school. Core Responsibilities Site Security: Acting as a primary key-holder, responsible for the daily opening and locking of the site and managing alarm systems. Maintenance & Repairs: Undertaking general maintenance tasks, minor repairs (DIY), and supervising external contractors for major works. Health & Safety: Executing statutory compliance checks, including fire safety, water hygiene (Legionella), and building risk assessments. Requirements & Compensation Essential: Proven experience in site management or a skilled trade (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work).
