Now we’re looking for an AI-first, technically strong SEO Manager who will take full ownership of SEO performance and gross profit across two of our business units: Power & Protect Elskling - Sweden’s leading electricity comparison site (also live in Norway) and Zmarta Insurance Money & Volume Our loan brands Zmarta and Axo Finans , operating in the private loan brokerage market. What you’ll do You’ll own the full SEO machine - strategy, execution, and outcomes - and ensure it translates into measurable growth and gross profit. Own SEO growth end-to-end Take full ownership of SEO strategy, execution, performance, and gross profit across Elskling, Insurance, Zmarta and Axo Finans Drive measurable growth in traffic, conversions, and revenue , not vanity metrics Continuously test, measure, iterate, and scale what works Lead technical SEO with confidence Identify technical SEO opportunities and translate them into clear, detailed requirements for Tech Work closely with developers to ship improvements efficiently (crawlability, rendering, site structure, performance, indexation, schema, etc.) Partner with the Business Unit as a strong technical stakeholder - you don’t just “request,” you get things done Win in the new AI search landscape Build SEO strategies optimized for AI Overviews, LLM-based search, and emerging discovery experiences Use AI tools and LLMs to automate and accelerate workflows (content, analysis, reporting, internal tooling) Stay ahead of how search is evolving - and ensure we stay visible where users are searching next Operate commercially and analytically Use data to identify opportunities and drive decisions - you’re comfortable in large datasets and tools like Power BI Connect SEO initiatives directly to commercial KPIs and business outcomes Act as a performance partner across the organization, ensuring SEO is integrated into everything we do Collaborate across stakeholders Work cross-functionally with developers, designers, analysts, and other marketing channels to make SEO part of the full growth engine Communicate clearly and effectively across multiple teams and business units What we’re looking for A technical SEO operator (ex-dev background is a big plus) Strong technical understanding - you could be a former developer or someone with deep technical SEO experience Confident translating SEO needs into technical requirements and driving implementation with Tech A do’er who executes You take ownership, push things forward, and thrive on delivery You don’t get stuck in “analysis paralysis” - you ship, learn, and improve AI search / modern SEO expertise Strong understanding of AI search, LLM behavior, and new SERP dynamics Experience using AI for automation and scaling SEO work (content, research, reporting, workflows) Commercial and outcome-driven You understand how SEO drives profit, not just traffic You work with a KPI mindset and enjoy a performance-driven environment Analytical and data-fluent Strong analytical mindset - comfortable with performance metrics, attribution thinking, and large datasets Experience using tools like Power BI , GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush etc. Collaborative communicator Strong communicator who can align stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams Comfortable navigating multiple brands, priorities, and business units Requirements Native Swedish speaker and fluent in English (written and spoken) Minimum 2 years of experience working with SEO in a commercial setting Strong technical SEO competence and willingness to work deep in the weeds Bonus points (not required) Experience from fintech, insurance, marketplaces or scale-ups Technical hands-on ability: SQL, Python, APIs, scraping, automation, log analysis Experience owning SEO for competitive, high-volume commercial markets What you’ll get Lead the SEO agenda for one of the most performance-driven teams in the Nordics Drive visible, measurable results that directly fuel growth - no fluff, no red tape Collaborate with a Nordic team of skilled marketers who share knowledge, test hard, and move fast Be part of a fintech scale-up that’s serious about AI, automation, and measurable outcomes Join a growth-driven culture where speed, data, and experimentation are core to how we win Work at our centrally located modern Stockholm office designed for focus and collaboration Sound like you?
