Web Engineering Sr. Manager (React & Next.js) (Hybrid)

Location: Ortigas, Pasig Work Setup: Hybrid (2 days onsite), Morning Shift Role Summary: Leads enterprise web engineering initiatives, focusing on React and Next.js-based customer-facing platforms. This role combines hands-on coding oversight, team leadership, and agile project execution to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable web applications. Key Responsibilities: Oversee full lifecycle development of React and Next.js applications. Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices, maintainability, and high quality. Mentor developers on architecture, coding standards, and performance optimization. Lead agile rituals and coordinate dependencies across technical teams. Collaborate with product and technical leadership to translate business requirements into robust web solutions. Introduce tools, frameworks, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce technical debt. Troubleshoot complex web application issues and ensure security and scalability standards are met. Qualifications: Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 9+ years of hands-on web development with React and Next.js expertise. Proven experience leading web engineering teams in agile environments. Strong knowledge of performance optimization, secure web development, and modern web architecture. Excellent analytical, mentorship, and communication skills.
