Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring psychology lessons to students at KS4 and KS5. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards, encourages critical thinking, and provides real-world applications of psychological concepts. Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students, supporting their development and helping them build a strong understanding of psychology. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and independent thought. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental goals, and engage in professional development opportunities. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and school events. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Psychology or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching psychology at secondary school level is preferred. Strong knowledge of psychology theory and practice, with the ability to teach at both KS4 and KS5 levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to engage with psychological topics and apply learning to real-life situations.
