KS1 Teacher – Thornton Heath

We are seeking a motivated, caring, and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Thornton Heath, starting as soon as possible. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about early learning and enjoys helping pupils build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social development. Staff work collaboratively to ensure consistency across Key Stage 1, with leadership providing clear support, guidance, and professional development opportunities. The Role As a KS1 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons that support pupils’ academic and personal development. You will create a nurturing and well-organised classroom environment where children feel safe, confident, and motivated to learn. You will work closely with teaching assistants and phase colleagues to ensure pupils receive the support they need to succeed. Regular communication with parents and carers will be an important part of the role, helping to build strong partnerships that support pupil progress.
