We aim to empower our students through physical activity and foster a positive attitude towards health and well-being. * **About the Role:** * Deliver engaging and dynamic Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a diverse range of sports, fitness activities, and health-related education tailored to the needs and interests of female students. * Develop and implement inclusive lesson plans that promote skill development, tactical understanding, and physical fitness for all students, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere. * Coach school sports teams (specifically girls' teams) and contribute to the extensive extracurricular sports program, encouraging participation and a spirit of healthy competition. * Assess student progress in practical activities, fitness assessments, and theoretical work, providing constructive feedback and celebrating individual and team achievements. * Promote the importance of healthy lifestyles, positive body image, and the benefits of physical activity for the overall well-being of young women. * Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives. * **Ideal Candidate:** * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Physical Education. * A good understanding of sports coaching principles, fitness training methodologies, and health education, with an awareness of gender-specific considerations in sports and physical activity. * Experience coaching a variety of sports, ideally including both individual and team activities, with a focus on female participation and development. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire female students of all abilities and backgrounds. * A passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and the empowering impact of physical activity for young women. * **Benefits:** * Competitive salary (commensurate with experience and independent school pay scales). * Access to excellent sporting facilities and resources within a supportive girls' independent school environment. * Opportunities to contribute to a thriving and inclusive sports program dedicated to female students. * **To Apply:** Please send your CV
