Senior Design Engineer

Job Opportunity: Senior Design Engineer – Chassis Electrical & Pneumatic Installation We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer / ETL Engineer to join our Chassis Electrical & Pneumatic Installation team in Gothenburg . This role involves designing, developing, validating, and maintaining pneumatic installations for heavy-duty vehicles in a global, cross-functional environment . Key Responsibilities: Lead design and development of pneumatic installations using KOLA. Manage product maintenance and new development projects . Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders (Purchasing, Production, FVV, Aftermarket). Delegate and oversee consultant work packages , including coordination with our Bangalore site . Ensure structured project execution, reporting, and documentation . Qualifications: Engineering degree with several years of experience in CAD design and installation (Pro/E) . Strong background in KOLA DVP, ETL, or team leadership roles, preferably within Volvo AB . Experience in heavy-duty vehicle development is a plus. Excellent English communication skills (spoken & written).
