Senior Manager, Substrates (Supplier Quality) About the Role We are seeking a Senior Manager, Substrates (Supplier Quality) to join the Global Quality organization. This role serves as the global technical and quality authority for substrate materials, working closely with Procurement and Development teams to ensure robust supplier performance, high material quality, and long-term technology alignment across the supply base. Key Responsibilities Act as the global technical and quality expert for substrate materials Define and lead the quality strategy and roadmap for substrate-related raw materials and suppliers Partner closely with Procurement (PROC) and Development (DEV) as the primary quality counterpart for substrate-related topics Serve as a high-level problem solver, driving root cause analysis and resolution of complex material and supplier issues Drive continuous improvement programs at suppliers to enhance quality, reliability, and overall performance Act as the first point of contact for supplier quality escalations, managing critical incidents and coordinating cross-functional responses Support supplier and material qualification activities, including audits and assessments Qualifications University degree in Physics, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field Proven experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably with exposure to materials, substrates, or related design and processing areas Strong understanding of material properties, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and quality requirements Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage Willingness to travel internationally to supplier sites and internal locations as required
