About the Role A respected Independent school in Camden seeks a dedicated Science Teacher to inspire students in their scientific exploration. This permanent, full-time position starts in September, and provides the opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to guide students through scientific concepts up to GCSE level. We are looking for a skilled Science Teacher to join our team. The Science department offers students access to hands-on experiments, scientific research, and university partnerships. We need a capable Science Teacher to contribute to our department. Responsibilities Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' scientific curiosity and understanding. Guide students through GCSE coursework, ensuring their success in scientific investigations. Utilise a variety of teaching methods, including practical experiments and technology. Contribute to the development and refinement of the Science curriculum. Lead extracurricular activities such as science clubs and projects. We want a Science Teacher with these abilities. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field. PGCE or QTS. Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
