The ideal candidate will be a passionate Biology Teacher who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and department needs. Main Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons that inspire curiosity and promote deep understanding. Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5), covering a range of biological concepts from cells and ecosystems to genetics and human health. Contribute to curriculum development within the Biology Department . Use a range of assessment methods to monitor student progress and provide effective feedback. Participate in school life beyond the classroom, including extra-curricular science activities and enrichment opportunities. The Ideal Candidate Qualified Biology Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Strong subject knowledge and a passion for biology. Proven ability to engage, inspire, and motivate students of all abilities. A reflective practitioner with excellent classroom management skills. A team player who contributes positively to departmental collaboration.
