Our Computer Science department is a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including coding projects, robotics, and data analysis, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and resources. Foster a passion for computer science in students, encouraging them to develop their problem-solving and programming skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to computer science and technology. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and programming skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. A passion for computer science and a commitment to fostering innovation.
