Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) Location: Stoke (Newcastle-under-Lyme) Salary: £53,000 Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights Hours: 6:30am–6:30pm / 6:30pm–6:30am Contract: Permanent | Full Time Allied Bakeries are recruiting a mechanically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at their Stoke site. This is a hands-on role within a large, automated manufacturing environment. The position is open to engineers from FMCG or heavy industrial backgrounds, including building materials, manufacturing or continuous process sites. The Role: Reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery Mechanical fault-finding on conveyors, gearboxes, drives and bearings Supporting breakdown response and site reliability Basic electrical fault-finding and safe isolation What Were Looking For: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias Experience in FMCG or heavy industry Safety-focused, practical and reliable approach What's on Offer: £53,000 salary 4 on 4 off shift pattern 24 shifts annual leave Tool allowance, pension and wellbeing benefits Long-term stability and development opportunities
