Social Media Officer

Position Title: Social Media Officer Location: Remote (Egypt-based) Reports To: Marketing/Communications Manager (UK-based) Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (depending on company needs) About the Role We are looking for a talented and motivated Social Media Officer to join our growing remote team. The successful candidate will be based in Egypt and work closely with UK-based companies to manage and grow their social media presence. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, running campaigns, and ensuring that each brand connects effectively with its target UK audience. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute tailored social media strategies for UK clients across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube. Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (text, images, graphics, short-form video, reels). Monitor social media channels, respond to audience comments/messages, and build community engagement. Track performance metrics, prepare monthly analytics reports, and suggest improvements. Stay updated on UK market trends, cultural moments, and competitor activity to ensure relevant and timely content. Work collaboratively with UK-based managers, designers, and copywriters. Manage paid social campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads) when required. Requirements Based in Egypt , with the ability to work remotely and align with UK working hours . Proven experience managing social media for brands or organizations (agency or in-house). Strong creative skills in content writing, visual storytelling, and video editing. Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite). Understanding of UK audiences and ability to adapt content for cultural relevance. Excellent written and spoken English (essential). Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently. Desirable Skills Experience in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Knowledge of SEO and social media advertising. Previous experience working remotely with international teams.
