Millwright – Atlantis, Western Cape An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Millwright to join the Maintenance Department. The successful candidate will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will play a key role in ensuring optimal plant performance and production uptime. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical faults to maximise plant uptime Replace defective machine components and adjust the alignment of moving parts Perform machine repairs, lubrication, installation, and dismantling according to technical drawings Assist with the supervision and coordination of maintenance activities Support the maintenance team with general tasks when required Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and plant procedures Minimum Requirements Trade Test Certificate: Millwright (Red Seal) Minimum 1- 2 years of experience in an FMCG/manufacturing environment Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments Own reliable transport Excellent communication, planning, and multitasking ability A flexible and proactive get it done attitude Advantageous Experience & Skills Exposure to food processing environments Experience with instrumentation, PLC (S5), AC/DC drives, and HMI systems Knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and SOPs Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) Working Hours Candidates must be flexible to work shifts, including: Standby, weekends, and public holidays may be required based on operational needs
