About the position As an engineer, you will help new and existing customers to develop their businesses by using our web-based Logistics solution. The work will give you a unique insight into the ever-changing market of Logistics and its software ecosystem. You will at the same time improve your skills in software development and implementation. The work is primarily done from our pleasant office at Johanneberg, Gothenburg , but can also include visits to our customers. The position is full-time. There are several different ways to continue your career at Ongoing. Ongoing WMS handles a large amount of data. Performance, reliability, and security are important. In the role, you will learn how to manage large data quantities using Microsoft SQL Server. About you Ongoing is looking for engineers who are interested in IT and software and its usage as a tool for developing businesses. We are a company with a strong focus on close collaboration and helping our customers and are therefore looking for a flexible and customer-oriented person. We think that you can understand and analyze our customers' businesses but also the capacity to learn how a large software solution works. To enjoy working in our team you should be open-minded and without prestige. You are expected to know to program but not C# specifically. Ongoing WMS is built using C#. Qualifications It is expected that you have knowledge in IT and programming. More importantly, you should be excited about working in an entrepreneurial-driven software company where curiosity, responsibility, and flexibility is an important part of future success. Full professional working proficiency in English and a Nordic language is required. It is meritorious if you speak additional languages. Master's Degree holders are eligible. Most of the engineers at Ongoing have a master’s degree from Chalmers equivalent technical university. The office is also located directly next to the Johanneberg campus.
