Closing Accountant

Role: As a General Ledger/Closing Accountant, you will work closely with Finance team as well as cross-functional leaders throughout the company. You will be responsible for all reconciliations, tax reports, and other closing tasks. Responsible for all reconciliations before locking the period, including bank reconciliations, Accruals, Prepaids & other accounts; Responsible for the reconciliation of Intercompany transactions; Responsible for reclassifying and adjusting the specific accounts and completing the related reports on time; Complete the tax return work on time, prepare and file the tax report; Responsible for generating BS and P&L at the end of the month, assisting the supervisor in the analysis of the statements; Support auditing requests; Other tasks arranged by the supervisor. Qualifications: CPA Board Exam Passer is a must At least five (5) five to ten (10) years related working experience, not limited to the following: Broad General Accounting Process; General Ledger Accounting; Bookkeeping Audit (Basic) - at least 2-3 years in an audit firm is preferred Closing Accounting Main Functions - Ie., Intercompany, Tax, and FX (Foreign Exchange), Month-end Closing, Foreign Currency Exposure on handling group of companies (consolidate/subsidiaries) Exposure on handling other global entities other than Philippines Exposure to certain accounting system Financial Statement Reports, Journal Entries - Accrual Reports, Prepaid Reports, VAT, Income Tax, etc. Work Setup: Hybrid Set-up (3x work onsite, 2x WFH) Schedule: Day Shift 9AM-6PM shift Location: Makati By applying, you give consent to collect, store, and/or process personal and/or sensitive information for recruitment and employment, may it be internal to Cobden & Carter International and/or to its clients.
