Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities The Year 1 Teacher will plan and deliver systematic phonics, guided reading and early writing lessons as the Year 1 Teacher. The Year 1 Teacher will assess and track progress, run focused interventions and liaise with parents as the Year 1 Teacher. As Year 1 Teacher , you will contribute to enrichment, lead trips and support transition into Year 2 from January 2026. The Year 1 Teacher will also attend phase meetings and CPD scheduled for January 2026 and beyond. Year 1 Teacher Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent KS1 experience as a Year 1 Teacher . Strong phonics practice expected of the Year 1 Teacher and confident behaviour management. A collaborative Year 1 Teacher who will be available to start pre-term planning before January 2026 and to teach as a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher from January 2026 . Why apply?
