Full-time, Permanent - September 2025 Start Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education with a desire to inspire and empower young women through sport and physical activity? We are seeking a dedicated individual, including ECTs , to join our successful PE department in an independent girls' school in Kensington & Chelsea. About the PE Department: The PE department is a dynamic and supportive team with a shared commitment to providing a high-quality physical education for all our students. We offer a diverse and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of sports and physical activities, and we encourage participation in competitive sports and extracurricular clubs. About the Role: Teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at GCSE and A Level depending on experience and interest. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Coach school sports teams and lead extracurricular sports clubs for girls. Organize and participate in sports competitions and events. Promote healthy lifestyles and physical fitness among girls. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent (or is eligible to apply). Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physical Education. Demonstrates a passion for teaching PE and a commitment to empowering girls through sport. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for PE and relevant examination specifications. Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
