About the job: Phlebotomy Team Leader (Makati | Manila) Work Setup: Mon - Tue: Makati Head Office | Wed - Friday: Manila PCC Work schedule: 8am - 5pm The Phlebotomy Team Leader is responsible for the administrative supervision and operational oversight of all phlebotomy staff. This role ensures the consistent delivery of safe, accurate, and patient-centered specimen collection services across all hospital areas. The team leader coordinates schedules, manages performance, ensures compliance with regulatory standards (DOH, ISO 15189, JCI), and fosters a culture of quality and service within the Phlebotomy Unit. Supervisory & Administrative Oversight Performance & Quality Monitoring Compliance & Safety Inventory & Equipment Management Documentation & Reporting Performance & Compliance Reviews Training & Competency Development Strategic Improvement & Patient Experience Equipment & Resource Planning Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in medical technology, nursing, or another health-related discipline. Licensed Medical Technologist (PRC) or relevant certification Certifications (Preferred): Training in Leadership, Team Supervision, or Healthcare Management; Certification in ISO 15189, Quality Management, or Phlebotomy Training Coordination is an advantage Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in phlebotomy or clinical laboratory services. At least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or administrative capacity. Strong supervisory and team management skills Knowledge of clinical standards for specimen collection and laboratory quality Systems Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Competent in Microsoft Office tools and documentation systems Organized, proactive, and capable of handling pressure in a fast-paced environment
