EYFS Teaching Assistant – Hornchurch

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hornchurch, starting as soon as possible. The Role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum. You will provide additional support for children who require one-to-one or small-group interventions, helping them access lessons and develop confidence and independence. You will also assist with classroom management, observation, and assessment to ensure children are making progress and enjoying their learning experience. Your role will include creating a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment, supporting children’s social, emotional, and communication development, and encouraging positive learning behaviours. Collaboration with colleagues and effective communication with parents and carers are key aspects of the position.
