Mechanical Design Engineer; Automotive / Component Owner

We are seeking an experienced Component Responsible Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development and maintenance of non-moving engine components for next-generation heavy-duty vehicles. As part of the Base Engine department, you will work cross-functionally and contribute to developing world-class combustion engines for sustainable transport solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead technical delivery and maintenance of assigned components, ensuring all requirements are met. Drive activities for harmonizing component solutions, aligned with system roadmaps. Collaborate with purchasing, operations, quality teams, and suppliers to optimize design and development. Contribute proactively to technical roadmaps with innovative solutions and ideas. Skills & Qualifications: B.Sc. or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in designing casted components in metal or plastic. Proficient in Creo; experience working cross-functionally as a component responsible. Strong technical interest and a collaborative approach to developing integrated component solutions. Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
