Economics Teacher - Full-time, Permanent (April 2025 Start) Are you a dedicated and knowledgeable Economics Teacher ready to inspire students in a faith-based secondary school in Hillingdon? About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including real-world examples, debates, and research projects, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Economics examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum and resources, integrating ethical and faith-based perspectives where appropriate. Foster a love of economics in students, encouraging them to develop their analytical and critical thinking skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and upholding the school's ethos. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Economics. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Economics examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. A commitment to the values and ethos of faith-based education.
