EYFS Teaching Assistant – Woolwich

We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and patient EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Woolwich, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Early Years education and enjoys supporting young children as they develop essential skills across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. The Role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering structured, play-based learning activities that foster early literacy, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional development. You will provide additional support to children who require personalised attention, helping them access the curriculum and develop independence. You will also assist with observations, assessment, and maintaining accurate records of pupil progress. Creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom and outdoor environment is essential to support children’s learning and wellbeing.
