The Role As a Music Teacher , whether an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher , your responsibilities will include: Delivering high-quality lessons in music across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring students develop both practical and theoretical knowledge Creating a varied and engaging curriculum that includes music theory, performance, composition, and music history, to inspire students of all abilities Guiding students in both individual and group performances , helping them hone their skills in instrumental, vocal, and composition work Collaborating with the music team to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of all students, fostering a positive learning environment Providing regular feedback to assess student progress and help them achieve their full potential Supporting extra-curricular activities , such as school concerts, music clubs, and ensembles, offering students opportunities to showcase their talents outside of the classroom Taking on leadership responsibilities if you are an experienced teacher , including mentoring less experienced colleagues or contributing to the department’s strategic planning What We Are Looking For We are looking for a Music Teacher who is passionate about the subject and committed to helping students reach their potential.
