Test Lead

Job Title: Test Lead Role Purpose: The Test Lead is responsible for leading the testing strategy, planning, and execution for software projects. This role ensures high-quality deliverables by coordinating testing activities, managing the QA team, and implementing best practices in testing processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and oversee the test strategy and test plans for projects Lead, mentor, and coordinate the QA/testing team to ensure timely and high-quality testing deliverables Manage and prioritize test execution, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to define testing requirements and scope Review and approve test cases, scripts, and documentation Monitor test progress, track defects, and report on testing metrics and quality status Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and best practices Identify process improvements to enhance test efficiency and coverage Required Experience & Skills: 7+ years of experience in software testing, with leadership or managerial experience Strong experience in test planning, strategy, and execution Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and QA processes Experience leading and mentoring QA/testing teams Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred (Nice to Have): Experience in test automation strategy and integration with CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with Agile or DevOps development environments Experience in enterprise-level applications and large-scale testing projects Certifications such as ISTQB Test Manager or equivalent
