As SafeRack continues to expand, we seek a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team based in our Sumter, SC facility. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to excellence as we further broaden our reach.

Key Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Engineer will:
• Collaborate with Sales Teams and leadership to develop mechanical solutions tailored to client needs.
• Conduct thorough analyses on industrial safety structures including load calculations.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently while creating solutions ranging from straightforward applications to highly intricate designs.
• Implement engineering standards while also ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Participate in technical discussions during estimation phases of project proposals.
• Interpret relevant codes and regulations affecting design requirements.
• Contribute engineering expertise during prototyping/testing phases of innovative product development.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; EIT or PE certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in structural/mechanical design or fabrication within the manufacturing sector is preferred.
• Project Management skills are highly valued.
• Proficiency with Solidworks or other parametric modeling software tools.
• Familiarity with RISA or comparable structural engineering software packages is beneficial.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities along with analytical prowess; must be well organized
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective teamwork

Work Schedule: Full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week from Monday through Friday.

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience
