As SafeRack continues to expand, we are searching for a skilled SolidWorks Designer Drafter to become part of our Engineering Team located in Andrews, SC. This role involves crafting superior quality models and drawings for various access, loading, and fall protection equipment. Collaboration with engineers, engineering managers, and production teams is key to fostering innovation and addressing customer needs.

Key Duties:
- Employ SolidWorks and AutoCAD for generating top-tier models/drawings.
- Interpret technical documents such as blueprints or schematics.
- Oversee design initiatives involving multiple departments to meet objectives on time.
- Produce accurate bills of materials within ERP systems matching customer specifications.
-Clearly represent component interactions through graphic means.
-Detail assembly processes while considering existing environmental conditions.
-Cooperate with colleagues on designs meeting both specifications & challenges effectively.
-Establish routines aimed at continuous performance enhancement.
-Acknowledge internal/external timelines & communicate schedule shifts proactively.
-Tackle additional tasks as needed by business demands.

-An associate's degree in Engineering or a related discipline is desired but not mandatory
-Prior experience in design/drafting within manufacturing settings preferred
-Minimum two years' expertise with SolidWorks/AutoCAD; certifications are an advantage
-Proven problem-solving capabilities along with organizational prowess
-Analytical mindset combined with excellent social skills & teamwork orientation

Work Schedule: Typical schedule from Monday to Friday spanning approximately 8 hours daily
