This full time, permanent Lead Embedded Power Electronics Electrical Engineer opening is at the world's leading manufacturer in their industry. The successful candidate will be focused on new product development so there will never be a dull day. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
- Developing new products
- Solving complex electrical engineering / electronic engineering related problems
- Analyzing and designing circuits
- Creating the PCB design
- Developing embedded software
- Overseeing projects
- Assisting and supporting sales, marketing and customers
- Training
- Traveling up to 10%, mostly out of state
- Prototyping
- Field testing
- Lab testing
- Documenting
- Communicating verbally and in writing
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- A 4-year electrical engineering or related degree
- 7+ years of power electronics design experience
- 1+ years of embedded design experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Provide a resume that showcases exceptional written communication skills
- Possess a passion for engineering
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Possess the ability to learn a large amount of new material
- Possess the ability to travel out of state up to 10%
