POSITION: Construction Project Manager – Industrial Projects- 80% office role with some travel. Please no Residential Construction. Must have Industrial or commercial exp. Must have work authorization in US.
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of industrial construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in industrial or commercial construction and experience managing subcontractors, internal teams, and project budgets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the execution and delivery of construction projects, ensuring milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
Interpret specifications to develop project budgets and timelines.
Coordinate labor, subcontractors, and internal resources to align with project requirements.
Provide clear scopes of work, estimates, drawings, and timelines to internal teams and clients.
Manage procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment in partnership with the supply chain team.
Monitor project progress through reports and adjust workflows as necessary.
Maintain consistent communication with clients to address changes, resolve issues, and provide updates.
Collaborate with internal departments including engineering, accounting, and warranty services.
Track financial performance, verify expenses, and support invoicing accuracy.
Support resolution of warranty claims post-project, when applicable.
Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, internal guidelines, and safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in construction project management (industrial/commercial preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Project.
AutoCAD familiarity is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams and engineering drawings.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
