This full-time, permanent Field Service Advisor - Electro-Mechanical Systems Specialist career opportunity is at a financially stable, employee-owned company that created their dynamic industry. There is no travel associated with this position. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
- Meeting with and communicating with a variety of vendors and customers both verbally or written
- Being responsive to incoming phone calls
- Proving technical support and troubleshooting
- Supporting and managing project workflow
- Working with customers as well as the parts and service area to resolve problems
- Creating work orders and invoices
- Billing and invoicing customers
- Supporting the service managers as needed
- Participate in service scheduling, if needed
- Handling Return Merchandise Authorizations
- Participating in scheduling training for service employees
- Training others as needed
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- 4 or more years of technical support or field service experience with hydraulics, drives, PLCs, mechanical and electrical
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Possess the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment
- 4+ years of supporting customers
- Exceptional communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
- A residence within 45 minutes
