Import Operations Associate

What You’ll Be Up To - Manage import documentation and compliance, ensuring all paperwork (invoices, permits, clearance docs) is accurate and aligns with regulations. - Coordinate and monitor cargo shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and follow-up with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders. - Communicate with internal teams (warehouse, finance) and external partners, resolving issues such as shipment delays, discrepancies, or damaged goods. - Support cargo inventory management, working with the warehouse team to ensure accurate recording of goods upon arrival and dispatch. - Contribute to operational improvements, by identifying bottlenecks and supporting process efficiency. - [Nice to Have] Familiarity with HS Code classification and its role in ensuring smooth customs clearance is a strong advantage. What We’re Looking For - Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, International Business, Transportation, or other relevant fields. - Fresh graduates are welcome. Having experience in import, logistics, or freight forwarding operations, or related roles (up to 1 years) is a plus. - Strong communication and coordination skills to work across teams and external partners. - Detail-oriented, structured, and responsive in handling shipment-related tasks. - Problem-solving mindset, especially in time-sensitive situations. - Comfortable using tools for tracking shipments and managing documents. - [Bonus] Experience or familiarity with HS Code classification or working alongside a PPJK-certified specialist is an advantage.
