1. Product Selection and Assortment: Curate a compelling and diverse product range that meets customer needs and preferences, ensuring a balanced mix of popular, new, and exclusive items. 2. Sales Growth and Revenue: Drive sales by selecting the right products, optimizing pricing strategies, and implementing promotional campaigns. 3. Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring inventory turnover aligns with sales targets. 4. Market and Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitors to make data-driven purchasing decisions. 5. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, ensure product quality, and secure new products. 6. Pricing Strategies: Develop competitive pricing models that maximize profit while remaining attractive to buyers. 7. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the product offerings meet quality expectations, enhance user experience, and foster customer loyalty. 8. Data-driven Decision Making: Use analytics and sales data to continually refine product mix, optimize stock levels, and improve purchase strategies. 9. Brand Alignment: Ensure all product selections align with the retailer’s brand image and positioning. 10. Cost Management: Control purchasing costs and optimize procurement processes to improve margins. Requirements : 1. Proven experience (usually 1 years) in merchandising, buying, or purchasing within e-commerce or retail environments. 2. Experience managing online product ranges, categories, or categories relevant to the retailer. 3. Strong ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer preferences. 4. Proficiency in using analytics tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or specialized retail analytics platforms). 5. Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships. 6. Ability to develop pricing strategies, promotional plans, and manage margins. 7. Strong understanding of customer needs and shopping behaviors. 8. Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. 9. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Astro, etc.) and inventory/sales management systems. 10.
