Business Development Representative (Freelance) - Sponsorship & Partnerships GuruGue, a dynamic and innovative education platform, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Representative to join our team on a freelance, commission-based basis. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in securing sponsorships for our premier national event: the GuruGue Anniversary National Competition Series for elementary, middle, and high school students. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual who thrives on building relationships and achieving targets. While this role is commission-based with a transport allowance, the potential for earnings is substantial and directly tied to your performance and success. Key Responsibilities: Identify and Prospect Sponsors: Research and approach potential corporate sponsors, businesses, and organizations that align with our mission and event objectives. Develop and Present Proposals: Create compelling sponsorship packages and pitch decks tailored to the needs and interests of prospective partners. Negotiate and Secure Agreements: Skillfully negotiate sponsorship terms, finalize agreements, and ensure all partnership contracts are executed effectively. Maintain Partner Relationships: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with new and existing sponsors. Qualifications: Proven Sponsorship Experience: We are looking for individuals, preferably university students or recent graduates, with a strong track record in event committee work, specifically in sponsorship or business development roles. National Event Exposure: Prior experience in securing sponsorships for national-level events is a significant advantage. Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills: Must be a confident and persuasive communicator, both written and verbal, with a keen ability to close deals.
